
Leafs outlast Bears at Giant Center 4-2

Matt Stajan scored two goals and added two assists while Kyle Wellwood notched four points on a goal and three assists as the St. John's Maple Leafs prevailed over HERSHEY 4-2.
Eric Perrin and Andre Savage both scored power play goals for the BEARS, who outshot St. John's 43-23 in the game. Savage's power play goal tied the game at two at the 7:11 mark of the third period before Stajan and Harold Druken scored goals to win the game for the Maple Leafs. St. John's mustered only four shots in the third period while scoring twice. HERSHEY goaltender Tom Lawson played in his first game in exactly one month, suffering the loss.
HERSHEY plays at Norfolk Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Air-time is at 7:10 p.m. on the BEARS radio network.
