
Legends Welcome Division Leaders for Eight-Game Homestand

Lexington Legends News Release
(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) The two division leaders in the South Atlantic League will visit Whitaker Bank Ballpark as the Lexington Legends return home for eight games beginning Saturday. Fans will also enjoy a Ford Fireworks show, a Bark in the Park night and a Kentucky Ale Thirsty Thursday, among other promotions.
On the field, the Legends will play a four-game series against the Northern Division leaders, the Hagerstown Suns, May 17-20. Savannah, which leads the Southern Division, will visit for games May 22-25.
"We're really looking forward to this homestand," said Legends President/COO Andy Shea. "We'll have some great promotions and entertainment, and the Legends will take on the division leaders. We know the fans will enjoy being at the ballpark."
The schedule:
Saturday, May 17: Legends vs. Hagerstown, 7:05 p.m. Saturday is Wine Night, sponsored by Gallo Barefoot. A Ford Fireworks show will follow the game.
Sunday, May 18: Legends vs. Hagerstown, 2:05 p.m. It's a JIF Kids Club Sunday. Kids Club members receive free admission to the game, and all kids may run the bases after the game.
Monday, May 19: Legends vs. Hagerstown, 10:05 a.m. Monday is the third and final Education Day game of the 2014 season, presented by Penn Station.
Tuesday, May 20: Legends vs. Hagerstown, 7:05 p.m. Tuesday night is 37-cent hot dog night. The price is in recognition of the Ford F-150 being the number one selling truck for 37 consecutive years.
Thursday, May 22: Legends vs. Savannah, 7:05 p.m. It's a Kentucky Ale Thirsty Thursday. Beer and Pepsi products will sell for one dollar each.
Friday, May 23: Legends vs. Savanah, 7:05 p.m.
Saturday, May 24: Legends vs. Savannah, 7:05 p.m. The Legends present Bark in the Park night, presented by Incredipet. Fans may bring their dogs to the park. Jake the Diamond Dog will entertain.
Sunday, May 25: Legends vs. Savannah, 2:05 p.m. The Legends will wrap up the homestand with another Kids Club Sunday.
