(HAGERSTOWN, Md.) Zach Johnson and Matt Duffy each homered and drove in three runs, and pitchers David Rollins and Juri Perez combined for a four-hit shutout as the Lexington Legends blanked the Hagerstown Suns 8-0 Saturday night.

Johnson has 97 runs batted in for the season. He leads the South Atlantic League and is one short of the Legends' single season record of 98 set by Jake Goebbert in 2010.

The Legends took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning on Johnson's solo homer, his 15th home run of the season.

Duffy led off the fourth inning with his 14th home run of the year to give the Legends a 2-0 lead.

The Legends added one run in the fifth on a walk to Ruben Sosa and a double by Duffy, and another in the seventh when Duffy was hit by a pitch, moved to second on a balk and scored on a single by Emilio King.

In the top of the eighth, Jose Fernandez and Luis Alvarez singled, and with one out, Sosa walked, loading the bases. Johnson followed with a double down the left field line, scoring two runs and sending Sosa to third. Duffy's sacrifice fly scored Sosa to make the score 8-0.

Rollins (1-0 with Lexington, 7-1 overall in 2012), who was making his second start for Lexington after being acquired by Houston in a trade with Toronto July 20, allowed two hits in five innings and got the win. He had compiled a 6-1 mark with Lansing of the Midwest League before the trade.

Perez completed the shutout with four innings of relief and earned his first save.

The series is even at one win apiece and continues Sunday. Game time is 1:05 p.m.
