CHARLESTON, W.V. - Lakewood allowed more earned runs in Saturday's 6-0 loss than they did in their previous seven games combined, and they have now dropped two consecutive games to the West Virginia Power.

A sacrifice fly in the 9th inning by Miguel Alvarez scored Brian Pointer to prevent the BlueClaws from being shutout for the first time since August 23rd and 25th, 2008 when they managed two hits over two games including the lone time in franchise history in which that 'Claws were no-hit.

Colin Kleven entered off an eight-inning, no-run performance against Delmarva in his previous start but allowed six runs in 4.2 innings to the Power. Kleven allowed more earned runs in the first five innings than Lakewood pitchers had allowed in the previous 61.0 innings (five earned runs, 0.74 ERA).

Lakewood will send Moises Rivas (2-1, 5.25) to the mound against Robby Rowland (6-3, 3.39) in Game 3 of the four-game series. Rivas is looking to notch his second consecutive win, but Rowland is looking to build on his success against the BlueClaws this season in which he is 3-0 with a 2.00 ERA in three starts this season (four earned runs in 18.0 innings pitched).

First pitch for Sunday's game is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. Listen to all the action on WOBM 1160-AM and WOBM 1310-AM beginning at 1:50 p.m. with the BlueClaws Beat pre-game show.
