The Lexington Legends scored six runs in the third inning to key a 13-0 drubbing of the Delmarva Shorebirds Tuesday, at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Legends outfielder Eli Iorg went 3-4 with two doubles, a three-run homerun and five RBI. Iorg reached base four times in five at bats. Lexington right-hander Brad James pitched six shutout innings allowing three hits, three walks and struck out four. The Shorebirds committed six errors in the ballgame, a season high. Legends left hander Chris Blazek tossed three innings in relief to earn the save.
