Columbus Catfish News Release
Columbus, GA - Join the Columbus Catfish at Golden Park Saturday, July 15 as we show our appreciation for the men and women of the military. Our first Military Appreciation Night of the season will include food specials, music and promotions for our Soldiers. The Catfish will take on the division-leading August Greenjackets at 7:00pm and gates will open early at 5:00pm. On this special day show your military ID at the ticket office for a free general admission ticket.
Prior to the game the Silver Wings, the Command Exhibition Parachute Team from Fort Benning, GA, will perform a live aerial demonstration and deliver a baseball for the ceremonial first pitch of the game. Also, the colors will be presented by the Ranger Training Brigade and the national anthem will be performed by the Infantry Band.
The first 500 fans with a paid admission will get a free Catfish cap thanks to Pepsi and Fox 54. Every Friday and Saturday home game fans can take advantage of the Fox 54 Family Fun Pack, which gets you four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks and a souvenir program for just $20. For tickets or more information call (706) 571-8866 or visit www.ColumbusCatfish.com.
