Ben-Gals appearance, Faith & Family night, two fireworks nights among promotions;
Legends players to appear at Fayette Mall July 25
APPLEBEE'S PARK, Lexington, Ky. - The Lexington Legends open an eight-game homestand at Applebee's Park Wednesday night, July 22, against the Lake County Captains. A wide variety of promotions will add to the fun as the Legends play four games against the Captains followed by four against the Hagerstown Suns.

Throughout the homestand: "Media Mogul Madness," in which local media celebrities will serve as guest public address announcers.
Wednesday, July 22, 7:05 p.m.: Ladies night; Ladies (or gentlemen) can buy one ticket and get one free by presenting their Sun Tan City card. Sponsored by Sun Tan City. Guest PA announcer: Mark Kennedy, WKYT.
Thursday, July 23, 7:05 p.m. Thirsty Thursday; features one-dollar beer and Pepsi product drinks. Presented by Kentucky lottery. Guest PA announcer: Twitch, Z-rock 103.3 FM
Friday, July 24, 7:05 p.m.: Bluegrass State Games celebration and fireworks night; Opening ceremonies at Applebee's Park will kick off the 2009 Bluegrass State Games and will feature a special appearance by Jared "the Subway Guy" Fogle. Presented by Bluegrass State Games and 590 WVLK AM. Fireworks show immediately follows the game. Sponsored by ADI and 590 WVLK-AM. Kroger Night, presented in part by KRAFT Singles; fans who bring a receipt from any local Kroger to the box office on July 24 and receive a buy-one-get-one-free ticket offer, courtesy of the Legends, Kroger, and KRAFT Singles. Saturday, July 25, noon - 1 p.m. A "meet-and-greet" with the Legends will be held at Fayette Mall. Fans are invited to meet Legends players and get autographs (limit three items to be autographed.)
Saturday, July 25, 7:05 p.m.: NFL night, Ben-Gals and fireworks night; NFL players with Kentucky connections will be recognized; Several players, including Marty Moore and Dermontti Dawson, will be present; Cincinnati Ben-Gals dance team will perform; NFL night is sponsored by Lexington Clinic and WKYT-TV. Fireworks immediately after the game, sponsored by ADI. Guest PA announcer: Jay Alexander, 107.9 The Beat.
Sunday, July 26, 2:05 p.m.: Kids Club Sunday, presented by JIF; Kids Club members may purchase box seat tickets for two dollars each and get to run the bases after every Sunday home game; Faith & Family Night, featuring five bands, and scheduled speakers Bobby Perry, Ginny Ramsey and the Legends' Ross Seaton; presented by Icthus and Air 96.1 FM. Kids Replica Jersey Giveaway, with a free replica jersey given to the first 1,000 fans 12 and under who enter the gates at Applebee's Park for Sunday's game. Presented by Blue Grass Airport.
