
Legends Drop Close Call to Wolves

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends (6-5) dropped a close call to the Iowa Wolves (3-9) 118-122 despite another double-double performance from Greg Brown III.
The first quarter stayed close until the final two minutes when Texas went on a 9-0 run for the first double-digit lead of the night. Brown opened the second with four quick points to set the tone for the home team's control through the half.
The Legends' largest lead of the night came early in the third with another back-to-back four points from Brown to make it a 14-point contest with 9:30 to play. The Wolves outscored Texas 28-25 in the third to make it 95-90 going into the fourth. The Legends' struggles struck in the final as they clipped a game-low 14% from outside. A 10-2 run in the first five minutes gave Iowa their first lead since the four-minute mark. The Legends answered with 7 straight and the back and forth ensued. After seven lead changes, the Wolves had the final make and finished 3-of-4 from the line to seal the victory.
Brown finished with 26 points, 14 rebounds, 2 steals, and 4 blocks. Mike Miles Jr. came off the bench for 20 points, knocking down 8-of-11 and 3-of-5 outside. Theo Pinson added 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, and Olivier-Maxence Prosper tagged on 15 points, 5 rebounds.
Leonard Miller led the Wolves with 31 points, 13 rebounds while Josh Minott added 20 points, 8 rebounds. Lance Stephenson came off the bench for 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists, and DJ Carton tallied 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists.
