
College Park Wins Third Straight, Handles Ontario 109-96

College Park, Georgia. - The College Park Skyhawks (9-4) picked up their third straight win and fifth win out of their last six games, defeating the Ontario Clippers (4-9) 109-96 in front of a sold-out crowd at Gateway Center Arena.
The Skyhawks netted 65 bench points, the third-most points off the bench in College Park History, and outscored Ontario's bench 65-20 (+45), marking the second-highest positive bench point differential in Skyhawks history.
Led by Rob Baker for the second-straight contest, the Harvard product netted 17 points, marking the sixth game out of his last seven he has poured in 15-or-more points. Baker also collected nine rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 30 minutes.
Six other Skyhawks joined Baker in double-digits, marking the third game this regular season seven-or-more Skyhawks have poured in 10+ points: Rob Baker (17), Seth Lundy (15), Jarkel Joiner (13), Chris Silva (12), Tyson Etienne (12), Kobe Bufkin (12), and Miles Norris (10).
Down six at the end of the first quarter, College Park finished the second quarter outscoring Ontario 33-16, and 84-65 from the second quarter on.
Jarkel Joiner led the way in the 84-65 stretch, netting all 13 of his points from the start of the second quarter through the end of the game. Joiner finished with six rebounds, four assists and one block in 25 minutes off the bench.
The Clippers were led by former Skyhawk Armoni Brooks who netted 20 points behind six triples (6-11 3FGM). Bryson Williams cleaned up the glass for the Clippers, notching a team-high seven rebounds, paired with 16 points.
Sitting at 9-4, College Park is now a game above the Osceola Magic (7-4) and Delaware Blue Coats (8-5) for first place in the Eastern Conference.
