WILMINGTON - The Delaware Blue Coats (7-4) took down the Wisconsin Herd (6-8) by a score of 107-102 on the second night of back-to-back matches. The win marked the first time this season the Coats have swept a back-to-back.
Jeff Dowtin Jr. led all scorers with a season-high 32 points on an efficient 11-16 from the field and 5-8 from three. Darius Bazley poured in a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds while Patrick McCaw (16), Jared Brownridge (15), Jarron Cumberland (14), and Aminu Mohammed (14) added double figures in scoring. The game saw 20 lead changes and 10 ties.
Stephen Thompson and Glenn Robinson III led the Herd in scoring with 21 points each. Wenyen Gabriel (15), Elijah Hughes (14), Marques Bolden (14), and Isiaih Mosley (11) also added double digits in scoring.
The Coats now hit the road and will be back in action on Wednesday, Jan. 31 when they take on the Osceola Magic at Silver Spurs Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
