
Left-hander Moviel Joins Kings

Clinton, IA - The Clinton LumberKings, in conjunction with the Seattle Mariners have announced the addition of left-hander Greg Moviel to the 25-man roster. He takes the spot of right-hander Keith Meyer, who has been released.
Moviel, 23, was drafted by the Mariners in the 26th round of the June 2006 draft. His last action was in 2007, with Seattle's Arizona League affiliate in Peoria. There, the former Vanderbilt hurler went 0-3 with a 24.00 ERA in 11 games, all in relief.
Meyer pitched in five games with Clinton this season, going 0-1 with a 7.20 ERA and one save in two chances.
Moviel is expected to join the club in Clinton tonight and has not yet selected a jersey number. The active roster stands at 25 players, including one on the disabled list.
