MONTREAL - Defender Wandrille Lefevre and striker Anthony Jackson-Hamel have been called up by the Canadian national team for an upcoming training camp, in preparation for an international friendly against Curacao, on June 13 at Stade Saputo, as well as for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Team captain and midfielder Patrice Bernier and goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau had already been confirmed on the team last Tuesday and will face Curacao in Montreal. A few days prior to that game, head coach Octavio Zambrano will make his final selections for the friendly in Montreal and the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Tickets for this match are currently on sale via canadasoccer.com/tickets and start at just $20. The pricing thus ensures that the match is accessible for all members of the Canadian soccer community.

Lefevre, 27, has appeared in three games with the Canadian national team, making his debut on October 13, 2015, in a 1-1 friendly tie against Ghana. He played against Bermuda earlier this year, on January 22, and was also called up in November 2015 for two 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying games.

Jackson-Hamel, 23, has also played three games with the Canadian national team, making his senior debut in a friendly game against Mauritania on October 6, 2016. He scored his first international goal on January 22, 2017, in a friendly against Bermuda. He previously played five games for the Canadian U23 national team, including four starts, in the 2015 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Goalkeeper James Pantemis, 20, who trains with the Impact first team, has also received his first invitation with the senior team.

Canada last played in Montreal at Stade Saputo in September 2010, a 2-1 victory over CONCACAF rival Honduras.
