The Leafs would run the score to 2-0 at the 14:56 mark of the first when Tyler Beechey scored his first goal of the season with a hard wrist shot against Peter Budaj. HERSHEY would close within one before intermission when Marek Svatos scored his 13th goal of the year at the 17:45 mark. In the second period, the BEARS tied the game at two when Mike Souza scored at the 3:42 mark. The goal for Souza was his third in as many games, and was assisted by Eric Perrin. St. John's retook the lead at 3-2 when Clarke Wilm scored his sixth goal of the season at the 7:39 mark.
