Wednesday, March 9, 2005 vs. Manitoba Moose

Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).

Prices: $5 (advance purchase only), $13, $15, $17, $20 and $25.

Oh, Canada!: In celebration of the Griffins' March home schedule against Canadian teams, fans can purchase lower bowl tickets in the south end of the arena (normally $17) at the "Canadian exchange rate" of $10 at the Van Andel Arena box office and The Zone, while supplies last. In addition, fans can register on the concourse to win a trip to Toronto, including round-trip train transportation and hotel accommodations, courtesy of Activa Travel. The finalists from the Griffins' first five home games in March will compete for the prize at the game on March 20.

Youth Hockey: The squirt Jr. B Owls and the Grand Valley squirt #2 teams will each skate during one of the intermissions.

We Love Our Country: American Cosmos will perform country music on the concourse before the game, courtesy of B-93. Country music and videos will be played throughout the night.

One-Hit Wonders: The Griffins will salute all those whose fifteen minutes of fame have expired with video and audio presentations.

GAHL Finals: Beginning at 7:30 a.m., teams in the Griffins Amateur Hockey League finals will compete for their division championships. All of the day's competing teams will receive their trophies in an on-ice presentation during intermission of the Griffins game.

Throw for Dough: Lake Michigan Credit Union offers fans the opportunity to win up to $5,000. Throughout the night, fans can purchase blue balls for $1 and green balls for $3 apiece. At the conclusion of the game, fans can throw their balls at a target at center ice for a chance to win up to $5,000. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cedar Springs Lions Club.
