Modesto, C.A. - An error in the seventh opened the door for the Stockton Ports in a 7-2 loss for the Modesto Nuts on Saturday night at John Thurman Field.

With the Nuts up by a run in the seventh, Joe Bennie started the inning by reaching on an Emerson Jimenez error at shortstop. Troy Neiman (L, 2-1) then allowed a single to Mickey White. Argenis Raga sacrificed both runners into scoring position with one out. The first run scored on a passed ball to tie the game. The go-ahead run came across on Sanber Pimentel's RBI double. James Harris followed and cracked a RBI single to plate the third run in the decisive seventh.
