Late Rally Comes up Short

North Little Rock, AR - Twice the Arkansas Travelers rallied to tie the Tulsa Drillers but ended up falling by a final score of 4-3 on Thursday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. The decisive run came home in the top of the ninth inning after the Travs had tied it in the eighth. Tulsa pitching held Arkansas without a hit until the sixth inning and off the board until the seventh. Despite that, the Travs had at least one base runner in every frame and left 12 runners on base for the night.

Moments That Mattered

* Patrick Frick blasted his first home run of the season with two out in the bottom of the eighth to tie the game.

* Justin Yurchak put Tulsa in front for good with a two out knock in top of the ninth.

* LF Jack Larsen: 2-4, BB

* The teams combined to go 3 for 25 with runners in scoring position and stranded 24 base runners.
