LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Colorado Eagles (25-15-5-4) powered past the Las Vegas Wranglers (12-31-4-2) 3-2 with a goal scored in the final second by defenseman Mark Nemec Tuesday evening at the Orleans Arena. Eagles goalie Dustin Butler helped to hold off the Wranglers, making 27 saves on 29 shots to get his second win of the season.

The Wranglers would find the back of the net with less than four minutes left in the first frame. Forward Robert Smith tipped in a pass that forward Adam Hughesman took from the top of the circle to gain the 1-0 lead.

Just 5:20 into the second frame forward Kyle Kraemer beat Wranglers goalie Mitch O'Keefe for the Eagles first time in the two-game series with Las Vegas to tie the game at one.

Hughesman put the Wranglers back on top, 2-1, as he beat Butler five-hole with a deflection in the low-slot just 1:53 into the third period. Kraemer would again find an equalizer, as he sent a rocket over O'Keefe, top-shelf from the left circle to tie the game again for Colorado, 2-2, with7:30 left in the third. With just three-tenths of a second left on the clock Nemec netted the game-winning puck from the high-slot off a rebound to gain the 3-2 victory over the Wranglers.
