Bridgeport Trades For, Assigns Tremblay to Thunder

The Stockton Thunder's AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, have announced that they acquired forward Nicholas Tremblay from the Oklahoma City Barons in exchange for Greg Miller. Tremblay will be reassigned to the Stockton Thunder.

Tremblay, 25, has played in 41 games for the Bakersfield Condors this season and has amassed 8 goals and 8 assists. The Candiac, PQ native joined the Condors in the second half of last season and averaged a point-per-game, finishing the season up with 16 goals, 13 assists for a total of 29 points in 29 games.

The former 6th round pick of the Boston Bruins played college hockey at Clarkson University where during his senior year, led his team in goals (17) and points (36). Tremblay has also played in 10 games in the AHL with the Providence Bruins and Oklahoma City Barons, amassing 1 goal and 1 assist.

Miller, who played his first game for the Thunder back on November 15, has been a big contributor to the Thunder team having picked up 17 goals and 21 assists in 37 games played. The Toronto, Ontario Native also leads all ECHL rookies in powerplay goals with seven. This is Miller's first pro season after graduating from Cornell University. He started the year in Bridgeport, playing 9 games for the Sound Tigers before being reassigned to the Thunder.
