Colorado Eagles News Release

LOVELAND, Colo. -- The Colorado Eagles and University of Colorado Health have teamed up again for March MAN-ness. March MAN-ness is a campaign initiated by UCHealth to emphasize the importance of disease prevention and early detection for men, a group that typically avoids health checkups. Several of the Eagles players and coaches have signed-on as ambassadors of the "Get Checked" campaign. In hockey, no one likes getting checked, but it is part of the game, the same applies for men's health. Men frequently avoid visiting the doctor even though statistics show that mortality rates decline when they take an active role in their own health. Click here for a video on the "Get Checked" campaign and to learn more about the free UCHealth men's health events.

To help celebrate March Man-ness your Colorado Eagles will be wearing specially designed yellow warm-up jerseys for all home games starting Friday, February 21st and all through March. This specialty jersey worn by the team is the first jersey in Eagles team history to be predominantly yellow in color. Select warm-up jerseys will be auctioned off later this season to benefit the new Poudre Valley Cancer Center and several of these jerseys will be available for fans to win courtesy of UCHealth. Fans can have the chance to win select jerseys by attending any of the March Man-Ness events or on UCHealth night on April 12th when the Eagles take on the Alaska Aces.

UCHealth and the Colorado Eagles invite you take part in March MAN-ness by attending one of the free men's health happy hours hosted in Loveland on March 3, Fort Collins on March 4 and Greeley on March 6. Register now and be entered to win limited-edition signed jerseys, Eagles season tickets and other great prizes. See all of the details here and register at www.marchmanness.org.
