PINK IN THE RINK NIGHT BENEFITING PINK RIBBON GIRLS

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Tonight the Cyclones will open a four-game road swing beginning with their second-to-last trip to Evansville this season. In 2013-14 against the IceMen, the Cyclones have amassed a 3-2 record while collectively out-scoring them in those games by a 23-17 count. Not surprisingly, though, all but one of their meetings have been decided by two goals or less - which has become par for the course in North Division bouts.

SCOUTING THE ICEMEN: Jeff Pyle's club is in the thick of the Eastern Conference race despite having gone just 3-7 in their last 10 games. While they currently sit 9th in the East and four points behind Cincinnati, they have excelled on the home ice - going 16-7-2-2 at Ford Center this season. Jeremy Langlois leads the IceMen and ranks 7th among all ECHL players with 43 points (15 goals, 28 assists) in 38 games. Matt Schepke, who had a pair of lamp lighters against Cincinnati in their last meeting, ranks second on the club with 41 tallies (18 goals, 23 assists) in 47 contests. While their team defense ranks toward the lower third of the league, Evansville has found some solid goaltending from Mike Clemente and Garrett Bartus. Clemente, a Brown University alum, is 14-8-0-4 with a 2.52 goals-against average - two of those wins have come against Cincinnati. Bartus, meanwhile, has amassed a 6-5-3-1 mark and a 3.08 GAA.

LAST HEAD-TO-HEAD MEETING: FEBRUARY 9, 2014: Matt Schepke's second period outburst helped lead the IceMen to a 4-2 victory over the Cincinnati Cyclones in front of 5,434 at the Ford Center. Brian Nugent had both of Cincinnati's goals in a losing effort.

Quite Offensive: Thanks to another five goal outburst on Saturday, the Cyclones offense ranks second in the ECHL. They are averaging 3.33 goals-per-game and have notched four goals or more in 21 games. In such situations, they are 19-2-0.

Finding Stride: Cyclones forward Trevor Lewis has really turned it on offensively over the last couple of weeks. The second-year pro has collected tallies in eight of his last 10 contests. With 25 points in 40 games, Lewis has already set a career high.
