BOISE, Idaho - John Lammers and Greg Rallo scored two goals each to help the Idaho Steelheads send the Stockton Thunder (18-22-2, 38 points) to a 6-2 loss before 3,858 at Qwest Arena on Wednesday night.

The Thunder dropped its fourth loss in a row and fell to 9-9-3 in the all-time series against the Steelheads.

The Thunder struck first in a quick fashion on Ryan MacMurchy's 15th goal of the year just 25 seconds into the game, completing a give-and-go play with center Brandon Schwartz feeding MacMurchy from the left circle.

However, Idaho responded just 1:49 later on John Snowden's first goal in an Idaho uniform to knot the game at 1-1, setting a screen in front of the net and re-directing Lance Galbraith's shot from the left circle past Thunder goaltender Glenn Fisher.

Lammers gave Idaho a 2-1 lead with four minutes left in the period on a power-play goal, burying a rebound from the left circle after Fisher stopped a blast by veteran Marty Flichel from the high slot.

Idaho took its largest lead of the game after 40 minutes with a 4-2 lead which included Lammers' second goal of the contest. The Thunder started the scoring in the period by tying the game at 2-2 on Schwartz's eighth goal of the season at the 6:17 mark. Schwartz converted the game-tying goal after Mark Adamek's slapshot from the right wing was stopped by Idaho netminder Kellen Briggs and caromed to Schwartz at the right circle, who fired the puck through Briggs' five-hole.

Matt Craig put Idaho ahead at 3-2 on a breakaway goal with 8:56 gone in the second period, finishing a backhander through Fisher's legs. Lammers scored his second of the game and ninth of the year with 59.8 seconds left in the period when his slapshot from the left point fluttered off Fisher's glove and into the net for a power-play goal, just seconds after the Thunder killed off a 5-on-3 power-play that spanned 57 seconds.

Idaho continued their rally with Rallo's 16th goal of the season at the 9:34 mark of the third period, burying a rebound after Fisher lost his ground in net with a collision that left half of the net open for Rallo. Idaho finished the scoring with Rallo's second of the game and team-leading 17th goal of the year with 7:55 left in the game, netting a wrist shot from the slot.

Schwartz, who was matched on a new first line with MacMurchy and rookie Tom Zanoski, led the Thunder scoring with two points and collected his fifth multi-point game of the year.
