The Lakeland Magic announce that Publix Super Markets has become the Official Supermarket of the Lakeland Magic in their 2017-2018 inaugural season.
To tip off the partnership, the Lakeland Magic and Publix teamed-up to offer both customers and fans the unique opportunity to meet Lakeland Magic players while they bagged groceries and escorted customers to their vehicles. The event also featured SWISH the Magic mascot and an opportunity for fans to win tickets to an upcoming game.
"We're excited about our partnership with the Lakeland Magic. Their presence is a great addition to the City of Lakeland." said Publix representative Brian West.
The partnership provides Publix with on-court logo inclusion, LED signage, and a presenting night sponsorship. Lakeland Magic President, Shelly Wilkes, presented Publix representative, Tim Cox, with a dedicated jersey during the game tonight to commemorate the partnership.
"We are pleased to align the Lakeland Magic brand with such a reputable organization and an active contributor in the Lakeland community." said Wilkes. "We are grateful for their support and eager to build a lasting partnership here in Lakeland."
