Osceola Magic News Release
The Lakeland Magic, NBA G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, announced today that they have released forward Kevin Foster to create roster space for newly acquired center Byron Mullens.
Foster, a 6-8, 230-pound forward out of Fresno State University and a Lakeland native, made the team after participating in a local tryout. Foster appeared in 21 games for the Magic, averaging 3.7 ppg and 2.0 rpg in 9.3 mpg.
ABOUT THE LAKELAND MAGIC
On December 14, 2016, the Orlando Magic and the NBA G League announced that the Magic purchased the Erie BayHawks with plans to relocate the team to Lakeland, Fla. and begin play during the 2017-18 season. With the purchase, the Magic became the 17th NBA team to own and operate their NBA G League affiliate, the Lakeland Magic. The franchise will play its 24 home games at the RP Funding Center. The Lakeland Magic season is made up of 50 regular season games plus a postseason and runs from November to April.
