
Lake County Tops Legends

Lexington Legends News Release
The Lake County Captains rallied for a 6-4 win over Lexington Monday night. The Captains scored a run in the sixth and two in the seventh to erase a 4-2 deficit. The loss snaps Lexington's nine game home win streak.
Two Lexington streaks that remained intact. Francisco Caraballo singled to bump his hit streak to 13 games. Ben Zobrist doubled in a run to run his hit streak to eight straight games.
Ryan McKeller started the game pitched four uneven innings allowing two runs on five hits. Paul Estrada (1-3) gave up the lead by surrendering three runs on four hits in 2.2 innings.
Chris Niesel (2-1) started a day early and pitched effectively for six innings to get the win. Kieran Mattison earned his fifth save with a scoreless inning.
Hunter Pence picked up two hits after a day off. Saul Torres also had two hits, a double and a single.
Game four of the series is set for Tuesday night. Ronnie Martinez will face Reid Santos in the 7:05 start. The Progressive Direct pre-game show will kickoff network coverage at 6:50.
