
BlueClaws, Tourists Rained Out

Lakewood, N.J. - The Lakewood BlueClaws (5-19) and the Asheville Tourists (13-10), Single-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, were rained out on Monday. The game was delayed by rain for close to two hours before being called.
The BlueClaws and Tourists will play a double header on Tuesday with game one scheduled for 11:05 a.m. Both games will be seven innings.
Lakewood will send the right-hander Maximo Delacruz (0-2, 6.00 ERA) to the mound in game one. He will be opposed by the right-hander Ching-Lung Lo (1-1, 1.17 ERA) of Asheville.
Game two starters will be a match up of southpaws. J.A. Happ (1-0, 0.00 ERA) will take his perfect record to the mound and make his first start in front of the home crowd. The Tourists will counter with Jake Postlewait (0-1, 5.50 ERA). On air time for game one is 10:50 a.m. with the first pitch scheduled for 11:05 a.m. on 1310 WADB AM.
This season, the Lakewood BlueClaws are celebrating their fifth anniversary of providing great fun in the Jersey sun. Among the other great promotions this year, fireworks after every Friday night home game sponsored by Toyota World / Scion World of Lakewood. In addition, the BlueClaws will host games against affiliates of the New York Yankees and New York Mets.
