Lake County Game Postponed, Doubleheader Set for July 2

(EASTLAKE, OH) Due to inclement weather tonight's scheduled game between the Lake County Captains and Lansing Lugnuts has been postponed. Saturday, July 2 will now see a doubleheader at Classic Park with game one beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Lake County and Lansing were set to have first pitch at 7:05 p.m. tonight. Due to rain that began at 6:10 p.m., the field became unplayable at first pitch time. With rain also forecasted for later in the evening, the game was officially called at 7:47 p.m.

Saturday's doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games. It will be the eighth doubleheader of the season for the Captains and third at Classic Park.
