
LAFC to Face Houston Dynamo Wednesday, August 31 at PNC Stadium

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) travel to face the Houston Dynamo in a Western Conference matchup on Wednesday, Aug. 31. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. PT at PNC Stadium. (TV: KCOP 13, Estrella 62; Radio: ESPN LA app and 980 AM La Mera Mera).
LAFC remains atop the Supporters' Shield standings with 57 points and have already clinched a spot in the 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs.
NEWS & NOTES
On Saturday, Aug. 20 LAFC became the first team in MLS to qualify for the 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs, needing just 25 games to clinch a postseason berth, tying their own MLS record set in 2019 for the fewest games played prior to clinching a playoff berth.
LAFC enters its first meeting of the season vs. Houston with a 7-5-1 away record.
LAFC is on a two-game losing streak for only the second time this season.
LAFC has never lost an MLS regular season match to the Dynamo (4-0-4).
