Inter Miami CF (10W-11L-6D, 36 points) is set for a quick turnaround, as the team will travel for a midweek road match against the Columbus Crew (8W-6L-12D, 36 points) on Wednesday, Aug. 31. Kickoff at Lower.com Field is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Exclusive Limited Edition Inter Miami Themed Beer Can Unveil Event at Cervecería La Tropical with 10 Lucky Invited Fans

Additionally, Inter Miami CF and Cervecería La Tropical will unveil a co-branded limited edition Inter Miami CF and La Tropical themed beer can on Wednesday, Aug. 31. The can will hold La Original, Ámbar Lager, and will first be available at an invite-only watch party event at Cervecería La Tropical (42 NE 25th Street, Wynwood) for Inter Miami's road fixture against the Columbus Crew.

At the event, fans will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle to win official club merchandise and interact with Inter Miami CF broadcast talent Fernando Fiore, as well as Univision host Lindsay Casinelli.

Last Match

Inter Miami will face the Columbus Crew at Lower.com Field on Wednesday after falling 3-1 on the road against the New York Red Bulls in its last match on Saturday, Aug. 27. Forward Gonzalo Higuaín bagged the team's only goal in the visit to Red Bull Arena, replicating his first-ever Inter Miami goal, and blasting a free kick into the top corner of the net.

Playoff Push

Both teams will enter the pivotal match with 36 points each, with both sides sitting above the playoff line with Inter Miami in sixth place and Columbus Crew in seventh in the Eastern Conference standings.

First 2022 MLS Regular Season Matchup Against Columbus Crew

Wednesday will see Inter Miami and the Columbus Crew meet for the first time in the 2022 regular season and overall third time in club history, with each team having recorded a win in the previous matchups between the sides.

Inter Miami Leaders in 2022

Forward Gonzalo Higuaín is the team's top scorer this year with nine goal's so far in the 2022 regular season, while midfielder Bryce Duke is the top assist provider, with six this campaign.

Additionally, Inter Miami defender Christopher McVey has played every minute of 2022 MLS regular season action so far, being one of just three outfield players across the league to do so. Having played all 90 minutes in 27 matches, he may hit the 2,500 MLS minutes mark against the Columbus Crew.

Scouting the Columbus Crew

Columbus Crew will come into the match after drawing 2-2 on the road against FC Cincinnati in the team's last match on Aug. 27. So far in 2022, the Ohio-based side has recorded eight wins, six losses and 12 draws for a total 36 points, and currently sit one place below Inter Miami in the Eastern Conference table. Midfielder Lucas Zelarayán and forward Cucho Hernández, who have recorded eight goals and 10 assists and eight goals respectively, had led the team this season.
