Orlando City Foundation to Host Annual Celebrity Golf & Footgolf Tournament

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando City Foundation is set to host its annual Celebrity Golf & Footgolf Tournament at the Walt Disney World Golf Palm and Oak Trail courses on Sept. 19, with the event returning for the first time since 2019.

The event will feature players and coaches from the Club, as well as other celebrities from the greater Orlando area such as actor Matthew Lewis of the Harry Potter franchise, Real Radio 104.1 presenter Jim Colbert, co-presenter and local comedian Rauce Padgett, FOX 35 sports anchor Adam Shadoff and Orlando's own Mayor Buddy Dyer.

The Celebrity Golf & Footgolf Tournament is a premier event benefiting the Orlando City Soccer Foundation's community outreach programs, projects and initiatives. Teams can choose to play in either the golf tournament beginning at 8 a.m., or the footgolf tournament beginning at 10 a.m. The tournaments are set to run concurrently and culminate in lunch and awards at Shades of Green.

Funds raised from the event will go towards supporting the Foundation's mission to promote health and wellness in under-resourced communities by building safe places to play, providing free soccer programs and installing community gardens.
