
LAFC Midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye Undergoes Successful Ankle Surgery

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) announced today that midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye underwent successful surgery to repair a Medial Malleolus Fracture in his left ankle and is expected to be out four to six months. The procedure was performed by Dr. Rachel Triche on Monday, August 6.
The 23-year-old midfielder suffered the injury during the Club's 2-2 tie against Galaxy on July 26 at Banc of California Stadium. Prior to the injury, Kaye had registered two goals and five assists in 20 regular season matches.
LAFC (10-6-6; 36 points) returns to action on Wednesday night for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup semifinals against the Houston Dynamo. Kickoff tonight in Houston is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. PT at BBVA Compass Stadium.
