
LAFC Loses 2-1 to Sporting Kc on Saturday Night at Children's Mercy Park

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) fell 2-1 Saturday night to Sporting KC on the road at Children's Mercy Park.
Kim Moon-Hwan opened his MLS scoring to put the Black and Gold ahead in the 24th minute on an assist from José Cifuentes.
The match changed drastically in the 58th minute when Tristan Blackmon was sent off with a red card after dragging down SKC's Daniel Salloi, leaving the Club down to 10 men. Shortly after, SKC striker Alan Pulido equalized off of an LAFC turnover.
Sporting KC's homegrown midfielder Felipe Hernandez found Salloi in the 87thminute to put them up 2-1 and finish off LAFC.
LAFC returns to action on Saturday, July 3 when it hits the road to face Real Salt Lake. That game kicks off at 8:00 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on My13 KCOP, Estrella TV, 1110 ESPN, ESPN App (Audio) and 980 AM La Mera Mera.
