
FC Dallas Homegrown Beni Redić Undergoes Successful Surgery

FC Dallas News Release
FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas Homegrown Beni Redić underwent ankle surgery on Wednesday, June 23. Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Keith Heier successfully performed a high ankle sprain repair at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics and Surgery in Plano, Texas. Anticipated recovery time is approximately six-to-eight weeks.
Redić, 18, signed with FC Dallas as the 31st Homegrown in club history on April 9, 2021. He made his professional debut last season with FC Dallas' USL League One affiliate North Texas SC on July 25, 2020 vs. Forward Madison. He appeared in the 20-man roster for FC Dallas this season on May 29 against the Colorado Rapids on the road. Redić also appeared in two NTSC games this season.
