
New York Travels South to Battle Atlanta on Sunday

HARRISON, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls (4-5-0, 12 points) travel south to battle Atlanta United FC (2-2-5, 11 points) on Sunday. Kickoff at Mercedes- Benz Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG Go and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
Coverage on MSG begins at 3:00 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.
New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 2:30 p.m. EST with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 3:00 p.m. EST.
Sunday's match will be the ninth MLS regular season game between New York and Atlanta, with the Red Bulls unbeaten in the all-time regular season series (6-0-2). This will be the fifth regular season meeting at Atlanta with New York owning a 3-0-1 advantage. Atlanta is currently on a four-match unbeaten streak in MLS play at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, most recently earning a 2-2 tie against the Philadelphia Union on June 20.
Forwards Patryk Klimala and Fábio have started two consecutive matches together and have both scored their first career MLS goals in those matches. Klimala has recorded a goal or an assist in three-straight matches, which is the longest streak for the Red Bulls this season. Fábio tallied his fifth assist of the season against New England Revolution on June 23, which is currently tied for second in MLS.
Following Sunday's match, New York concludes their three-match road trip on Saturday, July 3 at Orlando. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on MSG and MSG GO and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
