The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) hosts the San Jose Earthquakes tomorrow, Saturday, May 20. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT at BMO Stadium and will be available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV/ ESPNLA 710 AM/980 AM).

Tomorrow's contest will feature the second meeting of the 2023 season between LAFC and San Jose. In their first regular season meeting of 2023, San Jose delivered a 2-1 loss to the Black & Gold on May 6th at Levi's Stadium.

NEWS & NOTES

LAFC enters Saturday's contest with 22 points and a 6-1-4 (W-L-T) record through 11 games played. The Black & Gold are ranked second in the west and rank fourth place in the Supporters' Shield standings.

LAFC leads currently leads the league with a +12 goal differential (21 G, 9 GA) through 11 games played. LAFC is currently the only team with a double-digit goal differential.

Dénis Bouanga has scored in the last four straight regular season matches.

Bouanga has 22 goal contributions (16 goals + 6 assists) in 18 games across all competitions in 2023. That is the most goal contributions by a player in MLS at this point in the season in the last four years.

LAFC Homegrown player, Nathan Ordaz made his first team debut when he replaced Bouanga in the 77th min. vs. Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday, May 17 at BMO Stadium.
