Club de Foot Montreal News Release

HARRISON, New Jersey - CF Montréal will complete a five-day road trip this Saturday when the team visits the New York Red Bulls at 7:30pm at Red Bull Arena (Apple MLS Season Pass, RDS, TSN, BPM Sports, TSN 690).

This will be the second meeting against the Red Bulls in less than a month following Montreal's 2-0 clean sheet win at Stade Saputo on April 22. Mathieu Choinière had notably scored deep in second half stoppage time to seal the win.

At Red Bull Arena, the Montrealers are 2-11-0 since 2012 in the regular season, with a goal differential of -22.

Since the teams last met, the Red Bulls made a head coaching change on May 8. Now led by Troy Lesesne, the team won its U.S. Open Cup match against D.C. United (1-0) and the New York derby (1-0) against New York City FC on May 13, in addition to a 0-0 draw more recently against Toronto FC on Wednesday at BMO Field.

Under Lesesne, the Red Bulls have shut out all opponents (in all competitions) after conceding goals in their first 10 games of the season.
