The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) earned their sixth road victory of the season after defeating Toronto FC 4-2 on Saturday night at BMO Field in Canada.

LAFC headed into the half with a 1-0 lead after Diego Rossi's shot was deflected in to the back of the net by Carlos Vela in the 23rd minute. Rossi would double the lead just two minutes into the second stanza with a left-footed strike before midfielder Lee Nguyen added the third in the 49th minute.

Two unanswered goals from TFC forward Jozy Altidore brought the home team within one, but Vela would get his second of the match deep into stoppage time to give the Black & Gold all three points.

With his brace, Vela is now first on the team with 11 goals, followed by forwards Rossi, Christian Ramirez and Adama Diomande - all with nine.

LAFC heads into the FIFA window in second place in the Western Conference record with a 13-7-7 (46 points) record. With seven games to go, the Black & Gold are off to the best start for an MLS expansion team since 1998.

Next up for LAFC is a home game against the New England Revolution on Saturday, September 15. Kickoff at Banc of California Stadium is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT (YouTube TV, UniMás 46, ESPNLA 710 AM, 980 AM).
