THE RESULT:

- Moved the Dynamo's record on the year to 7-13-7 overall and 1-8-4 on the road.

- Evened the all-time record in the Houston-FC Dallas series at 10-10-13.

TEAM NOTES:

- The Dynamo scored two goals in the game. It was the 13th time this season that they scored more than one goal in a game, and the first time since July 3 vs. Los Angeles FC.

- The Dynamo used their 25th different lineup combination in 26 matches this season.

- The Dynamo came out in a 4-3-1-2 formation for the first time this season.

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER NOTES:

- FW Mauro Manotas tied the club single-season scoring record in all competitions with his 16th of the year when he fired home a shot from 25 yards away in the 53rd minute. His 16 goals (12 in MLS regular-season play and four in the U.S. Open Cup) tied the total by Will Bruin in 2012 (12 MLS, 4 Playoffs).

- With his 53rd-minute goal, Mantas tied former Dynamo MF Ricardo Clark for fifth in club history with 28 career goals in MLS regular-season play.

- Manotas made his 57th career start and appeared in his 90th career game.

- FW Alberth Elis scored his 10th goal of the season when he converted a penalty in the 73rd minute. It was his 20th career goal in MLS regular-season play, making him the eighth Dynamo player to score at least 20 times in league play.

- Elis made his 25th appearance of the year when he came on for DF Adam Lundkvist in the 52nd minute.

- MF Arturo Alvarez saw action in his 15th game for the Dynamo and made his 252nd career appearance when he came on for MF Tomás Martínez in the 69th minute.

DF DaMarcus Beasley made his 20th start of the season, his 104th with the Dynamo and the 192nd of his MLS career.

- MF Darwin Cerén made his 15th start with the Dynamo and his 82nd MLS regular season start.

- MF Boniek García made his 16th start and 23rd appearance of the year. For his career, it was his 132nd start and 163rd appearance in MLS regular-season play.

- DF Leonardo made his 18th start of the season and his 47th start in league play for the Dynamo.

DF Adam Lundkvist made his 10th start of the season and saw action in his 12th MLS game.

- DF Philippe Senderos made his seventh start of the season and his eighth appearance of the year.

- MF Tomás Martínez made his 29th career start and played in his 34th MLS game.

- FW Ronaldo Peña made his sixth consecutive appearance when he came on for FW Romell Quioto in the 80th minute.

- FW Romell Quioto made his 21st start of the season and the 35th of his MLS career.

- FW Andrew Wenger made his 17th start of the season, his 53rd with the Dynamo and the 112th of his MLS career.

- GK Joe Willis made his 78th career start in MLS regular-season play and his 56th with the Dynamo.
