LAFC and Banc of California Stadium to Participate in Goldman Global Arts and When We All Vote 2020 Election Digital Art Campaign

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Banc of California Stadium today announced their participation in the Goldman Global Arts and When We All Vote digital art campaign.

Beginning on Monday, October 5, Banc of California Stadium and LAFC's The Towers Los Angeles on the 110 Freeway downtown will be one of 12 venues in the country to showcase digital murals created by a group of world-renowned, diverse artists who have crafted 13 original works that creatively amplify the message of voting through art and use a digital platform to spread the message and inspire participation.

The artists selected to create digital murals that will be showcased throughout the country and in Times Square include Aliyah Sidqe, Beau Stanton, Buff Monster, David Flores, Greg Mike, Hueman, Kayla Mahaffey, Kai, Mojo, Peter Tunney, Reggie "RAL86" Le Flore, Shepard Fairey, and Queen Andrea.

In addition to LAFC's Banc of California Stadium, other locations include Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks United Center, Portland Trail Blazers Moda Center, Sacramento Kings Golden 1 Center, Miami Heat American Airlines Arena, Milwaukee Bucks Fiserv Forum, Washington Wizards Capital One Arena, Washington Nationals Nationals Park, Cleveland Cavaliers Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, San Francisco Giants Oracle Park, Oakland A's Oakland-Almeda County Coliseum and Times Square in New York City.

Goldman Global Arts, the creative agency that curates Wynwood Walls in Miami, FL and the Houston Bowery Wall in New York City has been commissioned by Michelle Obama's nonpartisan voting organization, When We All vote to produce the program of original works.

The digital murals will all launch on Monday, Oct. 5 featuring the city's local artist and a rotating exhibit of each artists' mural. The focus of the murals will revolve around the themes of civic engagement and voting including Election Day, Vote-By-Mail, Registration, and American History of Voting. Each artist was selected for their artistic talents, style and contributions to art around the world. Through art, the community will be encouraged to vote early, vote by mail or vote in person on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Banc of California Stadium will serve as an L.A. County voting center for the Presidential General Election. County residents will have the opportunity to vote in-person or drop off Vote by Mail ballots for a five-day period between October 30 - November 3.
