FISHER CATS POISED FOR THE POSTSEASON

Your Fisher Cats are currently 3.5 games ahead of the second place New Britain Rock Cats and 4 games up on the third place Reading Phillies with just 4 games left to play! The Eastern League Playoffs are just around the corner, but the Fisher Cats home game schedule will be determined depending on whether the team finishes in first or second place.

Here are the tentative dates for Fisher Cats home playoff games*:

All playoff series are best of five games

EASTERN DIVISION PLAYOFF SERIES

(If the Fisher Cats Finish in First Place):

Wednesday, Sept. 7th: vs. Eastern Division Second Place Team, 7:05 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 8th: vs. Eastern Division Second Place Team, 7:05 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 11th: vs. Eastern Division Second Place Team, 1:35 p.m. (If necessary)

(If the Fisher Cats Finish in Second Place):

Friday, Sept. 9th: vs. Eastern Division First Place Team, 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Sept.10th: vs. Eastern Division First Place Team, 7:05 p.m.

(If necessary)

EASTERN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

(If the Fisher Cats qualify)

Tuesday, Sept. 13th: vs. Western Division Champion, 7:05 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 14th: vs. Western Division Champion, 7:05 p.m.

Playoff Game A (home playoff game #1)- is for the first home playoff game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium

Playoff Game B (home playoff game #2)- is for the second home playoff game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium

Playoff Game C (home playoff game #3)- is for the third home playoff game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium

Playoff Game D (home playoff game #4)- is for the fourth home playoff game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium

Playoff Game E (home playoff game #5)- is for the fifth home playoff game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium

The number of the playoff games is not tied to any specific series or game date, but rather to which home game number is being played at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
