- In their ninth game of the season, the LA Galaxy earned a 2-1 win at Dignity Health Sports Park over Real Salt Lake.
- The result moves the Galaxy to 7-1-1 with 22 points through nine matches on the season.
- At home, the Galaxy are now a perfect 6-0-0 while scoring 13 goals and allowing six.
- The victory marked the Galaxy's seventh-consecutive game unbeaten in MLS play. They are 6-0-1 during that span.
- The Galaxy are now 16-14-9 all-time versus RSL.
- Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his eighth goal of the season in his seventh appearance.
- This year, Ibrahimovic now has eight goals and one assist through seven games.
- All time, the forward now has 30 goals and 11 assists in just 33 appearances.
- Defender Diedie Traore made his first-ever MLS start Saturday night.
- Traore made history as the first player to sign with the LA Galaxy after being selected during an LA Galaxy II Tryout.
- Guillermo Barros Schelotto is now 7-1-1 all-time as a head coach in MLS.
- In their next match, the Galaxy will travel for an away game against the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena on Saturday, May 4.
