BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club will conclude its three-game road swing this weekend when the team travels to face Los Angeles FC at Banc of California Stadium on Saturday, May 4. Beginning at 9:30 p.m. CT, the match will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and transmitted locally on Univision Radio 93.5 Latino Mix. Coverage will begin at 9:15 p.m. CT with a live pregame show on ESPN+, presented by CIBC.
Saturday's match marks the second all-time meeting between the Fire and LAFC in regular season play. In the first and only match between the two sides last season, the Men in Red produced a strong 3-1 win at SeatGeek Stadium on Sept. 29, 2018. Three different players scored in the win, including midfielders Aleksandar Katai and Djordje Mihailovic and forward Nemanja Nikolic.
Entering Saturday's match, LAFC is unbeaten in its last two matches in league play. In its most recent contest, the Western Conference side tied Seattle Sounders FC 1-1 at CenturyLink Field on April 28. Forward Carlos Vela leads the team and MLS in goals scored (11).
Chicago Fire to Host a Watch Party at Heineken Pub97 on Saturday
Fans are invited to attend the Chicago Fire's official watch party at Heineken Pub97 (3626 N Talman Ave.) for the Men in Red's away match against LAFC on Saturday. Presented by El Nacimiento, the Watch Party is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. CT.
Fans in attendance will have an opportunity to win a team-signed secondary jersey.
