(OTTAWA) June 6, 2008 - Number eight is number one in the hearts of Ottawa Rapidz fans this week as catcher Kyle Geiger is voted Player of the Week.
The Greenwood, Indiana-native ended the week with a .292 batting average with two 3-run home runs, 8 RBIs and threw out a runner at second. Geiger leads the team in home runs.
Baseball fans can vote for their favourite Player of the Week at any Rapidz home game. Ballots are entered into a weekly contest to win a Suite Night with the Rapidz for 12!
