El Guapo to Make His Return

(NASHUA, N.H., June 6, 2008) Nashua Pride Officials announced today that Rich "El Guapo" Garces will be in town and in uniform on June 9th, when the Pride open-up a six game home-stand at Historic Holman Stadium.

El Guapo will be presented with his 2007 Can-Am League championship ring prior to his first game back with the Pride. Nashua will host the New Jersey Jackals for the first time this season, playing the Jackals three times before welcoming the Quebec Capitales to town.

June 9th is Pride Fortune Cookie night. The first 500 ticket holding fans to enter Historic Holman Stadium will receive a Pride Fortune Cookie containing the opportunity to win prizes from the Nashua Pride.

On June 10th, the Pride will hold the popular Ladies Night promotion, offering special concessions discounts to any woman in attendance.

The Pride take a day off on Wednesday, June 11th, and then host U.S. Army Education Day at Historic Holman Stadium on June 12th. The first 1000 ticket holding students will receive a U.S. Army high school senior day t-shirt. The Nashua Pride will welcome and celebrate the achievements local students. A special 10:35am first pitch is scheduled for U.S. Army Education Day.

On Friday, June 13th, The Quebec Capitales visit the Gate City. The Pride will give the first 1000 ticket holding fans a baseball car magnet upon entering the ballpark.

Saturday, June 14th, will feature an Atlas PyroVision Pyrotechnics Fireworks extravaganza following the conclusion of the game. Also, the first 1000 ticket holding fans through the gates will receive a pack of Nashua Pride baseball player cards.

Finally, on Sunday, June 15th, the Pride and Goodale's Bike Shop encourage all fans to ride a bicycle to Historic Holman Stadium for a special 4:05pm start time. The first 750 ticket holding fans through the gates will receive a Goodale's Bike Shop water bottle. The Pride will invite fans onto the field after the game to enjoy a game of catch.

The Nashua Pride Professional Baseball Club, entering its 11th season, provides a fun, affordable, community-based and fan-friendly source of sports entertainment. The 2007 Can-Am League Champions will be participating in its third year of play in the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball.
