Kutlak recalled by Boston Bruins

The Providence Bruins announced today that defenseman Zdenek Kutlak has been recalled by the Boston Bruins. The 23-year-old native of Budejovice, Czech Republic had been the team's top scoring defenseman, and was tied for seventh among AHL blueliners with 2-5-7 totals in 10 games.

Kutlak was originally the Boston Bruins' 10th pick (eighth round), 237th overall, in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. He currently ranks fourth on the P-Bruins' career list with 220 games played, with 15-36-51 totals and 141 PIM over that span. Kutlak has also played 14 NHL games with Boston, posting 1-2-3 totals and 4 PIM. He scored his first NHL goal on February 15, 2003 at Tampa.

The P-Bruins host the Lowell Lock Monsters at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Friday, November 7 and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Saturday, November 8. Both games get underway at 7:05 p.m.
