CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Barons announced that the fifth-grade class from Kensington Intermediate School was selected as the Classroom of the Month for November. Michael T. Lehr, President of the Cleveland Barons, made the announcement.

As part of the "Pasta Lear's Hitting The Books With The Barons" program, Kensington Intermediate School will receive a visit from Barons players and SlapShark on November 25th from 12:45-2:15pm. The entire classroom will be treated to a pizza party, compliments of Pasta Lear's Pizzeria and Deli. Pasta Lear's Pizzeria and Deli is located on 6310 Engle Road in Brookpark. Each month, participating classrooms must complete an assignment built in to their curriculum. The fifth-graders from Kensington were honored as each student wrote an essay entitled "What I Am Most Thankful For."

"The response from the schools was overwhelming and we wish that we could visit all of them," stated Lehr. "Reading the children's essays was really heart-warming and it made it difficult to choose a winning school."

Barons tickets can be purchased at all TicketMaster Outlets, the Gund Arena Box Office, and charge-by-phone be calling 216-241-5555. More information about the Barons is available by calling 216-420-0000 or by Crashing The Net at www.clevelandbarons.net.
