Hamilton Bulldogs News Release

The Hamilton Bulldogs today announced details today for their newest community initiative - "The ATS 'Keepers Klub in support of McMaster Children's Hospital."

"The ATS 'Keepers Klub, in support of the McMaster Children's Hospital" is a Hamilton Bulldogs ticket donation program, sponsored by Michael Andlauer, owner of ATS Andlauer Transportation Services Inc., along with Bulldogs' Goalkeepers Eric Fichaud and Jean-Francois Damphousse. Contributors to the program are helping to send children who are patients at the hospital along with their families to Sunday afternoon Bulldogs games. For a cost of $250, contributors are sending one child and one adult to the remaining Sunday afternoon games, with any extra tickets being donated to the Sunday, April 4th game, which is the Bulldogs final regular season game.

"I am pleased to have this opportunity to contribute to the McMaster Children's Hospital through the donation of game tickets, and to continue to foster the relationship between our Bulldogs organization and such a worthy Hamilton institution," said Michael Andlauer. "I thank our goaltenders Eric Fichaud and Jean-Francois Damphousse for stepping up and playing a role in our community, and hope the children and their families enjoy the games!"

"In sponsoring the ATS 'Keepers Klub, Michael Andlauer and Andlauer Transportation Services have demonstrated their commitment in supporting McMaster Children's Hospital and the Hamilton community," said Bulldogs President, Steve Katzman. "The Bulldogs are pleased to be a part of the ATS 'Keepers Klub commitment, and are proud to yet again be a part of such a worthwhile initiative."

Contributors to the program receive a charitable tax receipt for the amount they have donated and recognition at all Bulldogs Sunday home games. They also receive a signed Thank You gift at the end of the season, courtesy of Eric Fichaud and Jean-Francois Damphousse, along with the knowledge that they are donating to a very worthwhile cause. In the first week alone, eight sponsors have already donated to the program ensuring its' success.

"We are very fortunate, at McMaster Children's Hospital, to be able to work with companies within our community to enhance patient care," stated Cathy Wellwood Vice President of Development McMaster Children's Hospital. "These partnerships will help all of us grow strong together. The children of our community benefit from your caring for the future, one child at a time."

Goaltenders Fichaud and Damphousse will meet with the children and their families in a private room immediately after each game, providing them with an autographed gift.

"This program gives Jean-Francois and I a great opportunity to give back to the community," stated goaltender Eric Fichaud. "We look forward to seeing all the children at our upcoming Sunday games!"
