FRIDAY IS NAC RECOGNITION NIGHT

It will be National Adoption Center Recognition Night on Friday, Nov. 7, when the Phantoms host the Hershey Bears. The NAC will have information tables on the concourse that night as part of November Adoption Awareness Month. The first 2,500 people in attendance will receive a sports bottle, courtesy of Wendy's, while Cat in the Hat mini-movie posters will be distributed to kids.

DISNEY/PIXAR'S FINDING NEMO NIGHT ON SUNDAY

Sunday, Nov. 9 is Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo Night. Kids can watch the popular movie in Bullies Sports Bar & Restaurant at 4:00 p.m. that day and pick up a Finding Nemo poster on their way into the game. There will also be Finding Nemo promotions throughout the game vs. Bridgeport, including free DVDs and videos of the movie for lucky fans, and Nemo & Dory masks for the kids. Also on Sunday, the Aquarium Authority will be giving away 500 vouchers for a free goldfish and the New Jersey State Aquarium will have an interactive display on the concourse, as well as mascot Chomp on hand.

FRALEY & WALKER TO DROP OPENING PUCK

Philadelphia Eagles starting center Hank Fraley and starting defensive tackle Darwin Walker will be on hand this Friday to drop the ceremonial opening puck before the Phantoms host the Hershey Bears. Fraley and Walker follow teammates Todd Pinkston and Brian Dawkins, who dropped the opening puck at Phantoms games last season.

SECOND ANNUAL SCHOOL DAY GAME APPROACHING

The Phantoms' second annual School Day Game is set for Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 11:05 a.m. at the Wachovia Center. Throughout the game against the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, students from all across the Delaware Valley will take part in educational lessons in math and science that revolve around hockey. It is a unique way for kids to learn outside of the classroom, while also partaking in a Phantoms regular-season home game. The School Day Game is being sponsored by the Philadelphia Inquirer's News in Education program.

For those fans who want to play hooky from work, the Phantoms are offering $10 club box tickets as part of a Businessperson Special.

PHANTOMS PLAYER CLINIC ON TUESDAY

The third of 10 Phantoms Player Clinics will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Wintersport Ice Sports Arena in Willow Grove, Pa. Center Ben Stafford and defenseman Randy Jones will be conducting the clinic for members of the rink's Atoms, Mites, Squirts and Pee Wee teams. Phantoms Player Clinics are sponsored by Carrabba's Italian Grill.

PHANTOMS TO APPEAR ON NHL COOL SHOTS

NHL Cool Shots was at the Wachovia Spectrum on Oct. 3 for the Phantoms-Flyers exhibition game and will air the segment on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 1:00 p.m. ET on ESPN. It will also re-air on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2:00 a.m. ET on ESPN2.

VANDERMEER BROTHERS TO VISIT QUADRUPLETS

Phantoms left wing Peter Vandermeer and his brother, Flyers defenseman Jim Vandermeer, will bring joy and gifts on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 3:00 p.m. to the McGrory quadruplets, Sean, Brendan, Colin, and Ella, who were born to Chuck and Alissa on Aug. 29, 2003. The visit will take place at the family's home in Ridley Park. Among the gifts the players will be bringing are Flyers bottles, Phantoms socks, first-tooth ceramic boxes and two back seat car organizers and two playshades, courtesy of Graco children's products.

DESCHENES TO ATTEND "MAKE A CELEBRITY PAL" EVENT

Left wing Nick Deschenes will be participating in the Police Athletic League's "Make a Celebrity PAL" event on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the Denim Lounge (1712 Walnut Street in Philadelphia). The fund-raiser, which includes a live auction of one-of-a-kind "Celebrity Experiences," helps support more than 26,000 inner city youngsters who find safe havens in 24 Police Athletic League centers throughout the city.

NIITTYMAKI ON NEXT "INSIDE THE PHANTOMS"

LAW ON "RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS"

Right wing Kirby Law will be the guest on the Phantoms' weekly radio show, "Rumble with the Phantoms," this Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 4:30 p.m. Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every Wednesday on WNJC (1360 AM).

STUDENT TICKETS JUST $8 ON WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS

College and high school students with valid student IDs can attend all Phantoms games on Wednesdays and Fridays this season for just $8.
