Konecny, Salituro Among OHLers to Face Russians in CHL Canada Russia Series

Ottawa 67's captain Travis Konecny and teammate Dante Salituro have been selected to compete alongside fellow players from the Ontario Hockey League in the 2015 CHL Canada Russia Series.

The pair of 67's will play for the OHL side against the Russians on November 12 in Owen Sound.

Salituro, a 19-year-old right winger from Willowdale, has six goals and 11 points in eight games for Ottawa this season.

Konecny, a first-round NHL draft selection in 2015 by the Philadelphia Flyers, leads the OHL with 14 assists this season.

Fans can see Konecny and Salituro in action as Ottawa hosts the Mississauga Steelheads tonight (Wednesday, October 21) at the Arena at TD Place. Face-off is at 7 p.m.

It's the first game of three straight at home for Ottawa, which also hosts the Oshawa Generals on Friday, October 23 (7 p.m. face-off) and Sunday, October 25 against the Peterborough Petes (3 p.m.)
