Vande Sompel, Cirelli and Dal Colle Selected to Represent OHL in Canada / Russia Super Series

OSHAWA, ON - The Oshawa Generals are excited to announce that Mitchell Vande Sompel, Anthony Cirelli and Michael Dal Colle have all been selected to represent the Ontario Hockey League in the Canada / Russia Super Series Game in Windsor, Ontario on Monday, November the 16th, 2015.

Vande Sompel, 18, collected a total of 63 points (12-51-63) and 38 penalty minutes. The London, Ontario native was selected 82nd overall in the 2015 NHL entry draft by the New York Islanders.

Anthony Cirelli, 18, scored the Memorial Cup Winning goal in overtime against the Kelowna Rockets on May 31st, 2015. This season the Woodbridge, Ontario native has eight points in eleven games (3-5-8) with the Oshawa Generals. Cirelli was drafted 72nd overall by the Tampa Bay Lighting in the 2015 NHL entry draft.

Michael Dal Colle, the newly minted captain of the Oshawa Generals, has recorded four assists in eight games so far for the Oshawa Generals this season. Last season the Woodbridge, Ontario native lead the Generals in points with 93 in 56 games (42-51-93). Michael Dal Colle was selected 5th overall by the New York Islanders in 2014.
