
Komets Blank Fuel to End 2015

Indy Fuel News Release
FORT WAYNE, IN - The Fort Wayne Komets rounded out the 2015 portion of the ECHL season with a big 7-0 win over the Indy Fuel at home on New Year's Eve.
Mike Embach led the way for the Komets with a goal and four assists, and four Komets registered multiple-point games. Komets goaltender Pat Nagle made 37 saves for the shutout, his second of the season.
Shane Owen (10 saves, 14 shots) worked the first half of the game and took the loss for the Fuel, while newly-acquired Jordan Ruby mopped up with 14 saves on 17 shots.
The Fuel now host the Komets in the second half of the home-and-home series New Years Night at 7:35 pm. The Morellis Cleaners Pre-game Show starts 15 minutes before every puck drop on CBS Sports 1430.

Notes:
- Ruby's appearance in tonight's game was his second career ECHL appearance. Last year he played one game for Toledo, notching a win on 26 saves against Kalamazoo on April 3.
- Daniel Ciampini arrived before the game from Rockford after appearing in one game with no points and one shot. Overall this year Ciampini has seen eight games of action with one goal on seven shots.
- The Fuel will now play 12 of its next 14 games at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in the month of January.
